Dear Matt, I will always have the image of you (and your rucksack sitting neatly on your back) engraved in my mind forever. I have yet to meet someone with ability to connect with soo many people and to make them feel special like you did. You were truely unique and I miss you. Love always. Jo x

Matt, I am truly honoured to have known you and to have been able to call you a friend, and want to say thank you for the brilliant memories both with Momed and at work in The Woody. I could always count on you to cheer me up when i was having a bad day!

Matt was one of my best mates, I’ve known him since for as long as I can remember. I feel proud to have known such a fantastic person. We grew up together through primary and secondary school and hung out pretty much everyday. Even though we went our different ways at university, we kept in contact, as all our circle of friends did. We all have a special friendship which makes it even harder to cope and comprehend. Matt was one of the best footy player, golfer, snooker, pool, table tennis, rugby…….(the list goes on and on and on) that I knew. He was a competitive and passionate person when it came to sports. We had some very long pool sessions in Cornwall – from what I remember matt absolutely destroyed me. But it definitely made me a better pool player, so thanks man. All those whippings did turn out to help me.

There really was not much he wasn’t good at. Matt, our drunken sessions won’t be the same, with your expertly timed fish fingers, waffles and chicken dippers all on one plate when were all too lazy to do cook it.

Matt you are deeply missed mate. You were stolen from us but you will never, ever be forgotten. I find it hard that I can never talk to you again and ever be there for you. I cant believe it was nearly a year ago. There isn’t a day I don’t think about you! love you x

I just want to add that I think Janet, Mike, Lucy, you are all amazing. The way you have coped and you know I am always here if you need anything.

Say hi to Cameron for me. He looks so cute. See you all very soon xxx
